Parenting Coach
Jen Lumanlan, M.S., M.Ed., is a research-based parenting coach, author, and host of Your Parenting Mojo, where she helps parents move beyond reactive parenting patterns and toward more connected, needs-aware family relationships. Her work grew from her own experience becoming a parent, then pursuing graduate study in psychology with a focus on child development, followed by education, and eventually creating resources, workshops, and programs that help parents align their daily responses with their deeper values.
Jen serves parents and professionals who support families by helping them understand three recurring challenges: why children’s behavior can feel so activating, how parent and child needs often become confused with strategies or control, and how families can move from fixed scripts into small relational experiments that preserve agency for both parent and child. While Jen is not a licensed therapist, her work is meaningfully adjacent to clinical practice because it gives therapeutic professionals a clearer developmental and relational lens for understanding how parental arousal, unmet needs, and unresolved family patterns can enter the client container before intervention begins.
